ABOUT HER


 Amy Jade Winehouse was a British singer-songwriter. She was born on September 14, 1983, in Enfield, London. She is known for her deep, expressive contralto vocals and eclectic mix of musical genres, such as soul, rhythm, blues, reggae, and jazz.

She won multiple Grammy Awards for her albums "Frank" (2003) and "Back to black" (2006).  She had a special ability to channel hurt and despair into her performances.

She died at the age of 27 on July 23, 2011.
